Last week, over 4,000 analytics leaders gathered in Orlando, Florida for the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2019. Gramener was one of the sponsors for the 4-day event and established a booth to interact with the attendees. Our experts from the Leadership team addressed many questions on analytics and exhibited our impactful AI-driven Analytics solutions to drive data and analytics into the core of businesses.
The 4 day Gartner DA Summit has given us renewed faith in our commitment to the power of Data Storytelling. The key theme – Having access to data is no longer a differentiator, generating actionable insights leading to actions is key. I was in awe with the thought leadership presented by Gartner Analyst on various tracks. Digitopia 2035 was the most disruptive session that I attended, it dwells on what the future has in store.

Booth #919 eventually got crowded by leaders across the Analytics vertical. It was a notable exchange of information and ideas with all the dignitaries.
It is one of the most well-received events in the Analytics field. It serves as a platform for emerging Analytics companies to showcase their solutions, use-cases, ideas, thought leadership and share it with like-minded leaders. Furthermore, it generates new opportunities for companies to build business relationships.
At the conference we’ll share new strategies, guidance and best practices to help you realize your future – a future based on data you can trust, agile analytics you can rely on, and the clarity needed to empower you with the continuous intelligence and pervasive insights necessary to excel in the digital economy.

The event kicked-off with charismatic speakers like Carlie Idoine, Donald Feinberg, and Valerie Logan (Analysts at Gartner) giving pep talks on AI development in enterprise sectors. To deliver effortlessly, companies need modern, easy-to-use AI techniques that stand up as an industry leader and a vision that meets the needs of tomorrow.
In his recent post on Towards Data Science, Gramener’s Head of Analytics & Co-founder, Ganes Kesari unfolds his experience-cum-review followed by some really cool insights from the event.
I look forward to Gartner’s thought leadership in identifying early trends in the analytics space and summarizing key factors that drive the businesses. The sessions in the DA summit did a deep-dive into the buzzwords of AI, Augmented analytics to call out areas of impact and methodologies to add value to clients. It was heartening to see alignment with our offerings of ‘AI-driven story-telling’, and it was fun engaging with attendees at our exhibit to learn and share across the 4 days.

I was thrilled to see the data storytelling enter Gartner’s focus area. Stories make insights simple and memorable. At Gramener, we’re converting this art into a science and a platform. We were glad to be able to showcase what’s clearly an early technology in a rapidly evolving space.

We showcased many Analytics and AI-driven solutions that make the consumption of voluminous data easy.
The species classification API is fed with data to identify over 5,000 plant and animal species.
Our new AI-driven face recognition system attracted many eyeballs to the booth. The application can capture and detect the age & gender of any human. Although, the system shows varied results based on facial features like hair, beard, etc.
We received tremendous encouragement for our “AI Facial Stories Experience” demonstration and live demos that conveyed “Insight As Stories”, attendees were in awe at the accuracy of our AI facial stories app. For me, the funniest moment was when one of the attendees brought his partner to our booth to get her age confirmed by the application.
Vijay Nair: SVP – Sales, Gramener
The Penguin Counting API is a revolutionary model that helps tracking the population of Penguins in Antarctica. Furthermore, it is also used to save their decreasing population.
There was a plethora of interesting demos that support the analytical needs of Retail, Telecom, Media, Pharma, and many other analytics-driven industries and platforms. To know more about them, request a demo and get in touch with our consultants.
Now, we wait for Gartner’s next Data & Analytics Summit in Mumbai during 10 – 11 June 2019. Stay tuned for more on our solutions, demo, and booth information. See you soon in Mumbai!
